1.  What  is  Black  History  Month ?   Black   History  Month  also  known  as  African  American  History  Month  is  an   annual  observance  in the  United  States,  Canada,  and the  United  Kingdom  for  remembrance of  important  people  and  events  in  the  history  of  the  African  diaspora.

2.  When  is  Black  History  Month ?   Black  History  Month  begins  February  1st  and  ends  February  28th  in  the  United  States  and  Canada.  During  the month of  October  the  United  Kingdom  celebrate  Black  History  Month.

3.   Why  Black  History  Month ?    Blacks /  African  Americans  have  been  in  America  at  least  since  colonial  times.  But  had  not  been  noted  respectably  in  the  history  books  until  the   20th  century.  Black  History  Month  has  been  an  annual  event  since  1926. ( Dr.  Carter  G.  Woodson  is  credited  for  starting  Black  History  Month)
